Since I graduated from the Film Academy Ludwigsburg I have been working as a freelance illustrator and animator in Berlin. This has included all areas involved in the creation of visual images. My experience spans from classical illustration in print to the communication of complex content in cross-media and interactive forms.

With more than 20 years of professional experience I have been able to build a broad network of collaborators in neighboring disciplines, such as programmers, authors and sound designers. Together we design and create projects for publications, advertising agencies and media production companies.

Parallel to my professional work, I am also a member of the artists’ group Moga Mobo. Originally founded as an independent publication, the group’s work includes more than 100 editions of the Moga Mobo comic, as well as trade stands, workshops and live events. Together with my Moga Mobo colleagues, Titus Ackermann and Thomas Gronle, and thanks to the support of the Goethe Institute and the German Federal Cultural Foundation, we have been able to realize elaborate exhibitions with international artists in Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei, as well as at the German Foreign Office.

My greatest passion is telling stories with pictures.
